Can't fight the cozy...

Here in Kentucky, it feels like we have already
been through a complete and eventful winter —
and it's early January! While I type this posting,
snow is falling and a nice blanket of white is
already draped across every surface in sight.
As I try to stay warm here in my 1860's Victorian,
my thoughts turn to anything cozy. This den
with its blazing fire is a nice image to set the tone.
The generous sofa and the collected feel of the
accessories create a welcoming atmosphere
that helps cut the chill outside.
This image shows how a more glamorous aesthetic
can still be cozy. The Poliform sofa and Kelly Hoppen
club chair set the stage for a visual feast of textures
and finishes.
Nothing else says "cozy kitchen" like a butler's sink.
The brass taps are a great touch too.

Rustic wood softens the cold, stainless steel applicances
— and the reclaimed crate storage is inspired.
Layers = Cozy Bedroom. The rich, tonal color palette completes the picture.
